Catpip separates Pico’s household experience from veterinary guidance, cites authority sources beside material claims, and labels evidence limits and commercial relationships. Health-sensitive wording requires qualified review before publication, while corrections are dated and applied where readers can see them.

How articles are commissioned and written
Each article belongs to one primary pillar and answers a distinct guardian question. The draft begins with a direct answer and its safety boundary, then uses question-led sections, observable checklists, plain-language table summaries, and primary or authoritative sources where available.
How Pico’s experience is used
Pico’s logs can describe dates, sequence, home layout, and what the household observed. They are labeled as one household’s experience and cannot be used as proof of efficacy, safety, diagnosis, or universal fit.
Veterinary and specialist review
Medical symptoms, emergency routing, medicines, supplements, treatment language, and jurisdiction-specific care instructions require a named qualified reviewer. The visible review record includes name, credentials, jurisdiction, scope, and date. “Review pending” means the page has not earned that authority.
Product research and commercial independence
Desk research, owner reports, manufacturer claims, and independent evidence are identified as different evidence types. A future affiliate or retail relationship will be disclosed on the relevant page and will not convert curation into veterinary endorsement.
Corrections and material updates
Email hello@catpip.com with the page URL, the statement in question, and supporting evidence. Catpip will review the source, consult the relevant reviewer where needed, correct material errors promptly, and update the visible modified date. Material medical corrections should also record what changed.
